Amazon to create 20 lakh jobs in India by 2030 says CEO Andy Jassy to PM Narendra Modi

E-commerce giant Amazon has made a big announcement regarding India. The company is going to invest another $ 15 billion (about Rs 12 trillion) in India in the next 7 years. After this, the total investment of the company in India will be 26 billion dollars. The company’s CEO Andy Jesse said this to the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi during his US visit and announced to create 2 million jobs in India by 2030.

Amazon CEO Andy Jassy met PM Modi in Washington DC and announced huge investment in India. According to the information given in Amazon’s blog post, the company is going to invest $ 15 billion in India in the next 7 years. It will also create more than 20 lakh jobs in India. Andy Jesse has also posted a post related to this announcement on his Twitter handle, in which all these things have been said.

Amazon has said that it vows to digitize more than 10 lakh small industries. Along with this, it will create more than 20 lakh jobs in India. The company has set a target of creating these jobs till 2030. The company has said that it has digitized more than 62 lakh small businesses so far. It has created more than 13 lakh jobs directly and indirectly.
IT Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar also tweeted about the meeting of PM Modi and Andy Jessie. Amazon has recently completed 10 years of its services in India. According to the company, it started its operations here with a few hundred sellers. Today the company claims that it has added 12 lakh businesses and they are selling crores of products.
