Rushlane has shared a picture of the alleged 6-seater variant of the XUV700, which shows a road test mule of the car. The latest spied photos reveal that Mahindra does not want to delay the launch of the 6-seater variant of the XUV700. The car is being road tested and we expect it to be launched soon. However, at present no official information has been shared by the company regarding the launch of this variant.

The XUV700 is currently available with 5-seater and 7-seater configurations. The 6-seater version will get separate captain seats for the second row. Apart from the change in the seating layout in the picture, no changes are visible on the 6-seater version. The body lining with LED headlamps, L-size LED taillights and alloy wheels look similar to the standard variant. At the same time, no change is expected in the features as well.
Currently, the XUV700 is available in 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engine options. The 6-seater layout is likely to be offered with the top trims.
