The employees of the company are expressing their displeasure on social media regarding this.

Many companies had implemented work-from-home policies in the last few years due to the pandemic. However, after the improvement in the epidemic situation, most of the companies have abolished this policy and called the employees back to the office. There is a lot of attraction of job in Google. There are reasons behind this like getting more salary, good work culture and opportunity to work on new technology. According to a media report, many employees are angry with the company’s policy of making it mandatory for the employees to come to the office for at least three days in a week. These employees say that this will make it difficult for them to strike a balance between job and personal life. Apart from this, after the epidemic, many employees had shifted to different cities or states. Because of this, it would be almost impossible for him to attend office three days a week.

Employees are expressing their displeasure on social media regarding the company’s new policy. Mims are also being made regarding this. One of the memes said, “We are not school going kids. Don’t watch us like that.” In view of the increasing resentment among the employees, Google has said that it is ready to give some relaxation in this policy. The company can give permission to work remotely to such employees who have any health related problems or who live away from the office. However, along with this the company has made it clear that it is committed to the presence of most of its employees in the office.

In India’s largest software company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), the rate of leaving or attrition of women employees has increased. TCS has also changed its work-from-home policy. This is becoming a reason for women employees leaving their jobs. At the end of the last financial year, TCS had an attrition rate of 20.1 per cent on a year-on-year basis.
