The Harley-Davidson X440 price ranges between Rs 2.29 Lakh to Rs 2.69 Lakh. It has been made available in three variants – Denim, Vivid and S. Its design has been specially made according to the conditions of the country. In this, many elements of styling have been taken from the previous models of the company. It has round headlamps, LED lighting and LCD instrument controls. It is powered by the recently developed 398 cc single cylinder and air cooled motor, which generates 27 bhp power and 38 Nm peak torque. Along with this, there are six speed gearbox, inverted front forks and twin shock absorbers at the rear.

It was launched at the Hero Center for Innovation and Technology (CIT) in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The motorcycle will be manufactured at Hero MotoCorp’s Neemrana factory in Rajasthan. This is the first motorcycle developed in partnership between the two companies. Under this partnership, Hero MotoCorp will manufacture and market Harley Davidson motorcycles in the country.

Hero MotoCorp will compete with Baja-Triumph in this segment.
